Siggno, also referred to as Grupo Siggno, is a Regional Tex-Mex band hailing from Santa Rosa, Texas, known for their innovative approach to Tejano music. They incorporate a diverse range of instruments, including mandolins, keyboards, classic accordion, bajo sexto, and drums. Their musical style blends conjunto with elements of roots rock, folk, blues, R&B, and regional Tex-Mex influences. Although their 2002 album Por Amor earned a BMI Music Award and garnered their first nomination for a Latin Grammy Award, it took several years for the band to make their mark on the industry charts. Both 2007's Capitulo 5 and the subsequent year's Six Pack received Latin Grammy nominations, with the latter being the first of their recordings to chart (Top Latin Albums). In 2009, En La Radio marked Grupo Siggno's debut on the Regional Mexican Albums list. It wasn't until 2016's Yo Te Esperare that the group achieved their first number one on the Top Latin Albums chart, although two earlier releases—2014's En Vivo and 2015's Zodiacal—had already reached the top of the Regional Mexican Albums chart.
Established in 2000, the band currently consists of Jesse Turner (lead vocals, accordion), Ricardo Rosales (background vocals, bajo sexto), Ruben Robles (electric bass), Cesar "Chato" Sanchez (drums), Jorge Torres (congas, percussion), and Sergio "Checo" Tabares (MC).
Siggno made their debut with a full-length album titled Al Principio (2001) under Crown Records. This album produced the hit single "Pero Hablame" and led to a follow-up album on Crown Records, Por Amor (2002).
Later, Siggno signed with a new label, Serca Music, and released the album Caminando (2005). The band then transitioned to another label, Freddie Records, for their next album, Amor y Dolor (2006), which featured the hit single "Mejor Dimelo."
Subsequent albums released under Freddie Records included Capitulo 5 (2007) and Six Pack (2008), both of which received nominations for Latin Grammys. The album En La Radio (2009) reached number 19 on the Mexican Albums Charts and performed well within the Top 40 of Top Latin Albums.
Although the following year's Que Harias did not achieve the same heights, two albums released in 2012 -- Lo Que Me Dejaste and the compilation Nuestra Historia -- performed significantly better, leading to a surge in touring revenues. The band played to sold-out venues and festivals across Mexico and the United States, while their recordings continued to perform well on radio.
El Mundo Se Acabo (2013) reached number four on Top Latin Albums. This was succeeded by the band's greatest achievement: Zodiacal (2015), which secured the number two position on the same chart, followed by Yo Te Esperare (2016), which topped it.
Additionally, the latter two albums reached the pinnacle of the Mexican Regional Albums list and dominated genre streaming charts. After six months of touring and songwriting, Siggno returned to the studio, dedicating a year and a half to recording.
They emerged with Monstruo in the fall of 2018, which quickly ascended to the top of the Latin Albums streaming charts within hours of its release; all three singles from the album also reached the top of the charts, marking it as one of the most successful projects of their career.

La banda se presentó en recintos y festivales con entradas agotadas en México y Estados Unidos, mientras que sus grabaciones continuaron teniendo un buen éxito en la radio.
El Mundo Se Acabó (2013) alcanzó el puesto número cuatro en los Mejores Álbumes Latinos. A esto le siguió el mayor logro de la banda: Zodiacal (2015), que aseguró el segundo puesto en la misma lista, seguido de Yo Te Esperaré (2016), que lo encabezó.
Además, estos dos últimos álbumes alcanzaron la cima de la lista de Álbumes Regionales Mexicanos y dominaron las listas de streaming del género. Tras seis meses de gira y composición, Siggno regresó al estudio y dedicó un año y medio a la grabación.
En otoño de 2018, lanzaron Monstruo, que rápidamente ascendió a la cima de las listas de streaming de Álbumes Latinos a las pocas horas de su lanzamiento; los tres sencillos del álbum también alcanzaron la cima de las listas, convirtiéndolo en uno de los proyectos más exitosos de su carrera.
